HVAC automation is the single largest energy-saving lever in any commercial building, accounting for 40–60% of total energy consumption. AOPL designs and deploys intelligent HVAC control systems incorporating smart thermostats, Variable Air Volume (VAV) controllers, Air Handling Unit (AHU) automation, chiller plant optimisers and Building Automation Controllers (BAC) that continuously modulate output based on real-time occupancy, outdoor weather data and tariff signals.

Our HVAC automation solutions integrate seamlessly with BMS platforms via BACnet and Modbus, enabling centralised scheduling, setpoint management and demand-controlled ventilation. Precision humidity and temperature sensors form the environmental sensing backbone of every HVAC automation and IAQ system. AOPL specifies and integrates duct-mounted, wall-mounted and remote probe temperature/humidity transmitters that feed real-time data to BMS controllers — enabling accurate zone-level climate control, condensation prevention, dew-point monitoring and HVAC setpoint optimisation. A Digital Twin creates a virtual replica of the building's systems — enabling simulation of operational scenarios, energy optimisation modelling and commissioning validation without touching live equipment. IoT Gateways and Edge Computing infrastructure form the critical connectivity layer that makes smart buildings possible. AOPL designs and deploys LoRaWAN network servers, Zigbee coordinators, BACnet/IP gateways, Modbus-to-BACnet protocol converters and edge computing controllers that translate the language of thousands of sensors, meters and actuators into the unified data streams that BMS platforms consume. Without this infrastructure layer, smart building software has no data to act on.

Edge processing reduces cloud dependency by pre-processing and filtering data locally — enabling sub-second HVAC control loops and offline resilience. Our LoRaWAN deployments enable 1–2km wireless sensor coverage through building fabric, connecting meters, IAQ sensors and parking sensors without costly cable runs.
