- Self-powered operation with no batteries or external wiring required
Product Overview
The CT10x is a compact LoRaWAN® smart current transformer designed for remote energy monitoring and consumption analysis in indoor electrical systems. It features a non-invasive, split-core clamp design that allows for quick and safe installation on live wires without de-energizing facilities or disrupting operations. The device functions on self-powered operation by deriving energy directly from the induced current of the measured cable, eliminating the need for batteries or external wiring. Engineered for precision, it features an exceptional sampling frequency of up to 3.3 kHz to accurately report RMS current and accumulated energy data.
It acts as an early warning system by providing immediate irregular status alerts for current thresholds, over-current, and low-voltage conditions. Additionally, the transformer includes a USB Type-C port that serves as an alternate power source, configuration interface, and an extension point to connect an external sensor for cable temperature monitoring. Utilizing LoRaWAN® wireless communication, the CT10x seamlessly transmits critical load data to network servers and integrates effortlessly with building management systems (BMS) for centralized visibility.
